The orchestra will travel by coach from and return to Woodlands Conference Centre, Southport Road, Chorley PR7
1QR.

All members to travel to Birmingham on the coach. If members wish to make the return journey with parents they must
inform the Music Service in advance.

Reporting time at Symphony Hall

12.15pm:
Performance time (20 minutes performance time - Jurassic Park and Peterloo Overture).

Orchestral Open Category ends:

4.30pm:
Approximate arrival back at Woodlands.
Dressing rooms: Separate male and female dressing rooms are not available. Because of this LYSO members
should travel in concert dress.
Concert Dress Females:
Full length black skirt, (Cellist may wear black smart trousers), smart white blouse with
sleeves (no tee-shirts or sleeveless tops), black shoes/sandals and black socks/tights.
Concert Dress Males:
Black trousers, white shirt, LYSO tie, black shoes and socks (not white socks).
Passes: The orchestra will be issued with passes (wrist bands) at Symphony Hall. They must be worn throughout our
time at the Festival as they act as passes to allow access to the auditorium to hear other performances.
Please remember:
Your instrument and any accessories.
Double Bass players will need to bring their own stools.
Packed lunch and a drink.
There will be a limited number of seats available on the coach for any parents that wish to travel to Birmingham with the
Orchestra, this will be on a first come first serve basis, for details please contact Ann Connal on 01257 517108.
You will need to purchase tickets for the concert directly with BSH: Day Ticket - £6/£4 (Concessions). Day ticket for 21's
and under - £3.
