If members wish to make the return journey with parents they must inform the Music Service in advance. 10.00 Rehearsal 11.15 Departure Time 14.30 Reporting time at Symphony Hall 15.30 Performance - 20 minutes - Waltz and Adagio from Sleeping Beauty, Tchaikovsky; ‘Hut on Fowl’s legs (Baba-Yaga)’ and ‘Great Gate of Kiev’ from Pictures at an Exhibition, Mussorgsky/Ravel. 17.30 Open Orchestra Session 2 ends: 20.30 Approximate arrival back at Lostock Hall. Dressing rooms: Separate male and female dressing rooms are not available. Because of this LYSO members should travel in concert dress. Concert Dress Females: **Smart black trousers, smart white blouse with sleeves (no tee-shirts or sleeveless tops), black shoes/sandals and black socks/tights. Concert Dress Males: Black trousers, white shirt, LYSO tie, black shoes and socks (not white socks). **Black trousers were requested by Richard/Jenny at the rehearsal on 26th June - the letters sent out from the Music Service stated long black skirt. Performers and helpers passes: The orchestra will be issued with passes (wrist bands) at Symphony Hall. They must be worn throughout our time at the Festival as they act as passes to allow access to the auditorium to hear other performances. Please remember: Your instrument and any accessories. Double Bass players will need to bring their own stools. Packed lunch and a drink. There will be a limited number of seats available on the coach for any parents that wish to travel to Birmingham with the Orchestra, this will be on a first come first serve basis, for details please contact Ann Connal on 01257 517108. Spectators: Tickets can be purchased directly from BSH: Day Ticket - £6/£4 (Concessions). Day ticket for 21's and under - £3.
