There is a 'Castle Head Field Centre' sign : Follow the track to the centre. Google tells me it is 46 miles from M6 J31 (Salmesbury) to Castle Head and should take 50 minutes - but then it will be Friday rush-hour so allow time for getting on the motorway (especially if using Broughton junction). Google also tells me it costs about £8 in petrol!
