There is a 'Castle Head Field Centre' sign :Follow the track to the centre.Google tells me it is 46 miles from M6 J31 (Salmesbury) to Castle Head and should take 50 minutes - but then it will be Friday rush-hour so allow time for getting on the motorway (especially if trying to get on at Broughton junction).
